Koelnmesse would like to inform you that C-Shop Cologne, which was scheduled for November 2014, will not take place as an independent event. A conceptual revision plans to take up the topic of Convenience-Shop/Convenience-Channel as part of the upcoming Anuga so as to also be able to use synergy effects with other target groups and international sales markets.
After a good initial event in 2012, the talks held over the last few weeks in particular have shown that the concept of the trade fair as well as the sales channel Convenience attracted great interest, but the framework conditions for holding a second C-Shop Cologne this year were not in place.
The attractiveness and sustainability of the topic is unquestionable for Koelnmesse, making its representation as part of Anuga logical.
As soon as we have more concrete information on further proceedings, we will inform you here.
The first C-Shop Cologne presented 2012 the latest trend in the retail sector for three full days. It showcased a wide range of real-world oriented products and provided extensive information on the convenience store theme. Around 1,300 trade visitors from the wholesale and retail trades, industry, project development and new channels ensured that the new trade fair was a lively marketplace for the entire sector.
